Be it known that I, CHARLES VV.SWAPP, of the city ofBoston, county ot'Sulft'olk, and State of Ma ssnchnsctts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought in Two or Three Ply Ingrain and other Carpeting, in such colors as may be desired; and I'do hereby declare that the photographic print accompanying; this specification conveysto any one skilled in the art of carpetweaving a clear understanding of the same,

and is sulficient to enable such person to use my invention. 1
