Term of patent 3 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Louis Carl Levine, a citizen of the United States and a resident of Brooklyn, county of Kings, State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Handbag, of which the following is a specification:
Reference is had to the accompanying drawing forming a part of said specification and in which drawing Fig. 1 is a View in side elevation of a handbag showing my new design; Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view along the line 22 of Fig. 1 on a slightly enlarged scale; and Fig. 3 is a view in end elevation thereof.
The characterizing feature of the design resides in the bag illustrated, the body of which comprises the arrangement of an outer embossed, transparent layer or facing about an inner opaque base or body, with nail or rivet heads located at points of intersection of the grooves of the embossed facing and harmonizing in color with the edging; portions of the facing being raised away from the base or body as shown.
The present application is a continuation-inpart of my copending application, Serial No. 100,411, filed April 16, 1941, now abandoned.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a handbag, substantially as shown and described.
