PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A BATHING SUIT Application September 5, 1939, Serial No. 87,051

Be it known that I, Charna J. L. Anderson, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the county of New York and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Bathing Suit, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a bathing suit showing my new design as it appears when worn;

Fig. 2 is a fragmentary rear view, on a larger scale, of the bathing suit shown in Fig. 1 as it appears when laid out flat; and

Fig. 3 is a fragmentary front view, on a larger scale, of the bathing suit shown in Fig. 1 as it appears when worn.

The back of the bathing suit is conventionally plain except for the ruflle.

The characteristic feature of my design re sides in the combination on the bathing suit disclosed of the specific knitted ruffle attached adjacent the bottom, as shown.

The ornamental design for a bathing suit, as shown and described.
