PATENT OFFICE American Optical Company, Southbridge,
Mass., a voluntary association of Massachusetts Application September 28, 1938, Serial No. 80,129
Term of patent 14 years T'o `all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Thomas J Snavely, a. citi- Zen of the United States of America, residing at Peabody, in the county of Marion and State of Kansas7 have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Pair of Spectacles, of which the `following is a specication, reference being made to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
Figure l is a front perspective View of a pair of spectacles; and
Figure 2 is a top plan View of the same, showing my new design, the temples being shown fragmentarily in Figure 1 for convenience of illustra.- tion.
The characteristic features of the design are shown in full lines in the drawing and constitute barnlike members adapted to blend into the temple supporting portions of the mounting so as to render the connection between said bar-like members and temple supporting portions substantially invisible when viewed from the front.
I claim: The ornamental design for a pair of spectacles, substantially as shown and described.
THOMAS J. SNAVELY.
