Be it known that Max Kahn, a citizen of the United States and resident of New York city, in the county of New York and State of New York, has invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Mechanical Pencil or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had. to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, in which,

Fig. 1 is a bottom plan view of a, mechanical pencil embodying my new design;

Fig. 2 is a side elevational View thereof; and

3 is an end elevational view as seen from the right-hand end of the Fig. 2 illustration.

The ornamental design for a mechanical pencil or similar article, substantially as shown.
