Be it known that I, J OIIN FISHER, of the iity of New York, county of New York, and State of New York, have invented and proluced anew and original Design for a Pat- ;ern to be Inwrought in Two or Three Ply [ugrain and other Carpeting, in such colors t8 may be desired; and I do hereby declare that the photographic print accompanying this specification conveys to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving a clear understanding of the same, and is sufficient to enable such person to use my invention.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for ornamenting ingrain or other carpeting, as shown in the photographic print accompanying this specification.
