PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A PIANO CASE Samuel E. Zack, Chicago, Ill., assignor to Gulbransen Company, Chicago, 111., a corporation of Illinois To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, Samuel E. Zack, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Piano Case, of which the following is a specification, reference being to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, and in which:

Figure 1 is a perspective view of a piano case, with the fall board in open position, showing my new design; and

Figure 2 is a view similar to Figure 1, but with the fall board in closed position.

Each side wall of the piano case extended above the cheeks for a relatively short distance and having its upper end terminating in the vertical plane of the wall, the top forward corner only of each wall being distinctly and appreciably rounded in the plane thereof, as shown, together with a top cover for the piano case disposed to extend horizontally the full distance between and to abut the aforementioned wall ends, and said cover having the forward portion of the front section thereof curved transversely to conform with said rounded corners of said walls, constitute the dominant features of my design.
