PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SPECTACLE FRONT Jacob J. Pomeranz, Brooklyn, N. Y.
Application January 31, 1938, Serial No. 74,752
Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Jacob J. Pomeranz, a citizen of the United States, residing in Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Spectacle Front, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
In the drawing:
Figure 1 is a front elevation of a spectacle front showing my new design.
Figure 2 is a top plan View thereof, and
Figure 3 is an end elevation.
The present design embodies, as its characteristic features, the formation of a bridge and frame extensions therefor in which the top or central piece of the bridge is in horizontal alignment with said extensions, as shown in Fig. l, and wherein said extensions are offset longitudinally from the bridge and extend practically entirely across the upper edges of the lenses in the rear thereof, said lenses being secured to depending legs of the bridge which engage along the inner edges of the lenses.

The ornamental design for a spectacle front, as shown and described.
