PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A STRUCTURAL TOY ELEMENT Application April 29, 1937, Serial No. 69,051
Term of patent 14 years To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Alfred C. Gilbert, a citizen of the United States, residing at Hamden, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Structural Toy Element, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a View of either side, Figure 2 is an edgewise view looking from the left at Figure 1,
' Figure 3 is an edgewise view looking at Figure 1 in the direction of arrow 3, and Figure 4 is a perspective View, of a structural toy element showing my new design.
The present design comprises as principal and dominating features thereof, cylindrical bodies of like size and shape forming portions of a structural toy element projecting outwardly from a centrally disposed disc-like body of thickness approximately equal to the diameter of said cylindrlcal bodies, two of said cylindrical bodies being longitudinally aligned in axial relation to said disc-like body and separated by the thickness thereof, and others of said cylindrical bodies being ordered in radial positions about the peripheral face of said disc-like body with their root ends substantially touching one another at said face and concealing substantially all parts of said face other than fragments thereof having a generally triangular shape bounded by the said root ends of the cylindrical bodies and by the axial extremities of said peripheral face.

The ornamental design for a structural toy element substantially as shown and described.
