Be it known that I, Frances Hornstein, a citizen of the United States of America, residing in Manhattan, county of New York, and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Embroidered Knitted Fabric, of which the following is a specification, reference being had tov the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, wherein, the gure is a plan View of a piece of embroidered knitted fabric showing my new design.

The characteristic feature of my design resides in the combination on the knitted fabric, as

shown, of relatively close contrastingly colored knitted stripes separated by a band of contrasting and self-color knit, arranged on the horizontal and narrower similar contrastingly colored vertical stripes embroidered in depressions in the fabric and lying in the same plane as the horizontal stripes; said stripes forming a blocked design, as shown.

I claim:
