PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A PENCIL OR SINHLAR ARTICLE Frank C. Deli, Chicago, Ill., assignor to Autopoint Company, Chicago, Ill., a corporation of Illinois To all whom it may concern.

Be it known that I, Frank C. Deli, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Pencil or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.

Fig. 1 is a side elevation of a pencil or similar article showing my design;

Fig. 2 is a view taken at right angles to Fig. 1, and;

Fig. 3 is an end view with the clip removed.

The design consists in the ensemble shown in the drawing and contains as novel features the clip and cap, the latter having planes that register with the planes of the polygonal body, said cap planes being progressively reduced in width from the bottom to the top and being separated by planes that progressively increase in width from the bottom to top, the upper end of said top being conical and being faceted after the manner of a. cut diamond.

The ornamental design for a pencil or similar article as shown and described.
