PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A SHOE OR ARTICLE OF ANALOGOUS NATURE To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that 1, Julian G. Samuels, a citizen of the United States, residing at 6371 Waterman Avenue, St. Louis, in the State of Missouri, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Shoe or Article of Analogous Nature, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

In the accompanying drawing Figure 1 is a view, in plan, of a shoe showing my new design, and Fig. 2 is a view in side elevation.

The dominant feature of my design resides in the ornamental effect produced by the band extending across the shoe adjacent the throat of the vamp portion, the opposite ends of said band passing underneath ears, respectively, with which the upper is provided adjacent the sides of the throat, andrsaid band ends being provided with ornaments, respectively, each overlying the respective ear with which its band end is associated so as to give the appearance of the ears being interposed between the ornaments and the band ends, respectively.

I claim:

The ornamental design for a shoe or article of analogous nature, substantially as shown and described.
