PATENT OFFICE DESIGN FOR A POKER CHIP OR SIIVIILAR ARTICLE George J. Crosman, Irvington, N. J. Application October 18, 1935, Serial No. 59,110
Be it known that I, George J. Crosman, a citizen of the United States, residing at Irvington, county of Essex, and State of New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Poker Chip or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
In said drawing, Fig. 1 is a face view, Fig. 2 is an edge elevation and Fig. 3 is a cross sectional view taken through the center of the poker chip or similar article, showing my new design, the dominant features of which consist in a. circular body having at its respective faces a plurality of concentric annular beads or bosses and a. central Term of patent 7 years metallic inlay or disc of highly polished light reflective surface; said beads or bosses having fiat faces extending between annular channels or grooves which divide one from another; the outer bead or boss having a width greater than the widths of the inner beads or bosses; and the fiat faces of the inner beads or bosses and the faces of said inlays lying in planes countersunk below the face planes of the outer bead or boss. The figures are drawn upon a scale approximately twice the actual size of the device.
