HANS MIKOREY, OF SCHONEBERG, NEAR BERLIN, GERMANY, .ASSIGNOR TO THE FIRM OF MINIMAX CONSOLIDATED LIMITED, 013 BERLIN, GERMANY.
]?AINT OR COLOR -DISPERSER WITH MORE THAN ONE AIR-NOZZLE.
T 0 all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HANS MIKOREY, a C1Vll engineer, and a subject of the German Emperor, a resident of 13 Wartburgstrasse,
in the city of Schtineberg, near Berlin, Kingdom of Prussia, and German Empire, have invented a certain new and useful Paint or Color Disperser with More than One Air-Nozzle, of which the following is i a specification.
This inventi or disperser for paints or colors in which one nozzle for delivering paint or color corresponds to several air nozzles of which at least one is adjustable, with a view of being able to eifecta sprinkling even in a very steep or perfectly vertical direction without undue inclination or without any inclination at all of the disperser or sprayer.
The drawing illustrates an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.
In the drawing :-a is the nozzle for delivering paint or color,
the paintv receptacle I), mounted in the frame of the disperser 'o-r sprayer or from a paint container, arranged for instance at the wall of the working room, and connected to the nozzleby means of a flexible tubing, or in any other desired manner. To this paint or color nozzle several air nozzles, two nozzles for instance are connected, for the purpose of sprinkling in difierent-directions. One of the nozzles, the nozzle 0 for instance can be connected to the air admission pipe (I in the well known manner. By means of this nozzle, the spraying of the paint or color is effected in one plane, the position of which can of course be varied in any desired manner by inclining the disperser or sprayer. In order to be able to sprinkle downwardly with this disperser or sprayer under a very steep angle or even vertically downward, another nozzle 0 is provided. This nozzle is preferably connected to a pipe 7 by means of a joint m, and the pipe may be so arranged for instance, as to be may be locked by means of aset screw h. tube ,1 is preferably adjustably arranged in a projection 7c of the air admission pipe by Specification of Letters Patent.
on has reference to a sprayer f and to which the said paint or color is admitted either from 1 The Patented Aug. 1, 1911.
Application filed February 9, 1909. Serial No. 476,973.
1 means of a joint 2' or the like. In the air admission pipe, a three way cock n is arranged for being able to connect the air admission pipe (Z either to the nozzle 0 or to the nozzle 6 or to both nozzles. By means of the joints 1' and m, and as a result of the adjustabilit-y of the pipe f in the pipe 9 it is ossible, to adjust the nozzle 6 at any angle with relation to the paint nozzle (1, so as to obtain any desired direction of the jet, when sprinkling downward. By the simultaneous employment of both air nozzles the formation of the jet, and the direction of the 'et may be influenced at the same time.
WVh-at I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is c-- 1. The combination, in a paint or color disperser or sprayer, of one paint or color nozzle, with several air nozzles of which at t least one can be adjusted under any desired angle with relation to the paint or color nozzle, substantially as set forth.
2. In a paint or color disperser or sprayer, the combination of a paint or color nozzle, with several air nozzles of which at least one can be adjusted under any desired angle with relation to the paint or color nozzle, an air conduit, and a controlling device connecting the air nozzles independently of each other to said air conduit, substantially as set forth.
3. In a paint or color disperser or sprayer, the combination of a paintor color nozzle, with two air nozzles arranged below and above the paint or color nozzle respectively. an air conduit, two telescopic tubes one of which is jointed to said air conduit while to the other the said air nozzle arranged above the paint or color nozzle is jointed, and a controlling device connecting the air nozzles independently of each other to said air con- HANS MIKOREY.
