Having thus described my invention de-` I L sire to secure by Letters Patent and claim;

A. new article of manufacture'consisting of, a blank havingA a space thereen adapted to have a checlrwritten therein, rows ofsniaiier rectangular' spaces above and below said blank, figures denoting dollarsy less than one hundred, printed .in said spaces and reading from left to right in. sections of seven spaces each, below said blank, and in like sections but reading from right to let above said blank5-the words Under 100 being printed with largertype in the's'aid section at the lower left handl corner; the words 100 and printed with similar type in the next succeeding section to the right, and consecutively with similar type the words 200 and, l5300 and 400 and in the sections of rech-angular spaces below said blank space; and consecutively with similar type the words inverted, 500 and 2, 600 and 700 and, 800 and 900 and and reading .from right to left in the 'sections ofrectangular spaces above said blank; and a marginal space inclosingsaid rectangular spaces with the words Not good over lowest amount indicated in dol-l lars printed therein, and adapted to in- 5 struct the banker in cashing said check.
