l-Vhat Iclaim as my invention and desire to secure by Letters Patent,'is:- V.
1. A Wage registering apparatus for me, chanical looms co1nprising`the combination of the casing,` a spindle turnably lplaoed in the said casing and driven rom a suitablerotating partv of the loom so.tliat it makes one revolution per work unit, a toothwvheel, fixed on the said Spindle, 'a chainplaced around the said tooth-Wheel, the links of this chain corresponding in number to the number of teeth of the said tooth-Wheel, lateral projections on the links of thesaid chain, the number: of these projections corresponding to the rate of Wages in monetary units, a spindle fixed in the said casing, a tooth-` Wheel turnably arrangedon the" last' said spindle, and engaging' -with the said lateral projections, a counter of'any desired construction, also turnably mounted on the said spindle,`the un'its figure-Wheel of the said-` counter being connected with the last said tooth-Wheel, substantially as described and for the purpose set forth.
2. A Wage registering apparatus for mechanical looms com risingA the combination of a casing, a spind e turnably placed in the said casing and driven froma suitable rotating part of the loom so that it makes one revolution er work unit', a tooth-wheel fixed on the sai4 spindle, a chain placed around the said toothQwheel, the links of this chain corresponding in number to the number of teeth of thel said tooth-Wheel, projections on the links of the said chain and adapted to be turned laterally, a second tooth wheel connected to the last said tooth Wheel and adapted for supporting `the said laterally turned projections, a s indle xed in the said casing, a tooth whee turnably arranged on the last/,Said spindle vand engaging with the said laterally turned projections, a counter of any desired construction also turnably mounted on the said spindle, the units figure-wheel of the' said counter being connected with the last said tooth-wheel,- substantially as described and for the purpose set forth.
In testimony Whereo I have hereunto signed my name this 13th dag-of January- 1908, in the presence-of two su nesses.
