In a device of the class described, a blade-holder comprising a rocking shaft, opposed locking disks thereon to engage the ends of a blade and retain it in the holder, a sleeve on the shaft between said disks, a central collar on thesleeve, aving a radial seat to receive loosely the back of theblade, and a set-screw in said collar fixedly cons whenever the rotation of the shaft is .reversed. said friction connection comprising a friction disk'and a washer-like spring fast on the shaft, the disk being held in frictional engagement with the gear by said spring. v 11.
