Letters Patent No. 98,482, dated January 4, 1870.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part o! the same.
To all whom t may concern l Be it known that I, J ons T. FOSTER, of the city county, and State of New York, have invented a' new and improved Pump, which is clearly' and fully set forth in the following specification, including the accom panying drawings, and letters of reference marked thereon. Like letters refer to like parts in each drawing. Figure 1 is a plan view with the ltop casing removed.
Figure v2 is an end view with the end casing removed. A is a link-piston, with cog-gearing in the interior, and is made to revolve within the semi-cylindrical chamber B, by the pii'iion-wheel O, whereby A is made to accomplish half its revolution by moving in a right line. A is duplicated, and is arranged in opposition, on the same journal.
D is a partition, by which the duplicates A are separated, thus making one complete and separate waterchamber for each link-piston, with independent valves for each chamber. 4
