which the yfollowing is a specification.

This invention relates to culinary implements and refers particularly to an improved scraper to render the cleaning of cooking vessels easy.

An object of this invention is to provide a hand implement which is so formed as to resent angular edges to accommodate the lmplement to the angles formed between the bottom and the sides of cooking vessels vto enable the scraping of the same andthe removal of all of the adhering particles incidental to the burning or the adhesive qualities of the substances which have been placed in such vessels.

The invention has for a further object the provision of an implement of this character which is so formed that the same can be easily held within the hand in a rigid position and be reciprocated by the action of the hand within vessels which are comparatively small.

The invention has for a still further ob- `ject the provision of a scraper of this character which may be stamped upon a single 'rtion of sheet metal-by the single action of the cutter to thereby produce a sanitary' as well as an economically [produced article which occupies but small space so that the same can be utilized by the public to great advantage. f

Other objects and advantages and the peculiar formation of the implement will be more clearly brought out in the following description and accompanyin drawings.

In the drawings, in which is disclosed an embodiment of the invention and in which like arts are designated by the same numera characters throughout the views, the

reference numeral 10 designates a sheet of metal which is of flattened formation and so stamped as to form a yrounded edge 11 at one end thereof, 'the edge being curved into substantially. semi-elliptical formation and terminated in a substantial straight lower edge 12, whichmerges into the curved edge 11 to form a continuation thereof and to dispose al rounded corner, as at 13, upon the sheet of metal 10. The edge l2 is abruptly terminated atthe op osite end of the implement which is cut to orm a diagonal edge 14, disposed at an obtuse angle to the edge 12, the edge 14 being terminated in a point 15 formed by the cutting away of the upper edge of the implementto'form a straight sidey 16. The point 15 is formed by the disposingof the edge 16 in an acute angle `to theedge 14, thel point- 15 being adapted for engagement in vcorners and crevices in cooking utensils where the. rounded corners are not accessible. The upper edge of the body portion, or sheet of metal 10, is cut away to provide inwardly converged edges 17 and 18 for the purpose of eecting the formation of corners 19 and 20, varying in an angular formation as is disclosed in Fig. 1, owing to the disposition of the edges 17 and 18 with respect tothe curvedend 11 and the upper edge 16. At one corner of the Abody portion, an aperture 21 is stamped for the purpose of engaging the implement upon a nail or the like, when it is desired to be conveniently hung up when not in use.

The vuse of the device is apparent from Fig. 2 wherein the implement is disclosed within a pan 22 and is engagedV so as to dispose the point 15 at the adjacent edges of the bottom of the pan and the sides thereof, the sides or edges 14 and 16 extending from the point 15 being engaged respectively upon the bottom of the pan and the side thereof against the inner faces of the same.
