The track 17 is preferably constructed of steel tubing rotatably mount ed inbrackets 26. These brackets are formed with projecting parts 27, having openings 28 in which the ends of the tubular track are rotatably seated. The construction as here shown is a -longituclinal segment of steel tubing arranged with the circular part 17 thereof uppermost and reinforced by an integral rib 17 underneath and extending longitudinally of said segn'ient. Both of the modified forms of rotatable track, namely, 17 and 17 are intended to be used in conjunction with, brackets similar to those cmployed'in the of construction and to this end. the nmdiiication shown in Fig. 6. has
its integral-rib 17, restricted in height to the diameter of the segmental part of said n'lodilied form of track.
The advantages of the construction and arrangements of parts hereinbefore described are as follows There is a minimuln of friction bet ween the hanger frame and the track and also a minimum surface for friction between the roller and the track so that the door will travel upon the track with little noise and friction and the hanger frames are not apt to bind and cause the door to lodge; also the track may be rotated in its bearings from time to time to present an unworn sur- .face to the roller. This will overcome the increase of friction caused bythe wearing of a fiat surface upon the track. The construction shown in Fig. 6 is also ada ted to be rotatable as described to prevent at at surface being presented to the roller, although with this form of construction complete-rotation of the track is not made.
Having thus fully described 'my invention what'I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States is:
l. The combination of a door-'hanger-' a. convex track; a convex roller rot-aframe, tably mounted in said hanger-frame, and brackets having projecting members adapted for rotatably seating said track therein.
2. The combination with a door-hanger frame, of a convex-roller jonrnaled in said frame, and a convex track for said roller, rot atably seated in end supporting brackets, said hanger frame being constructed with depending sides spaced apart to aline the centers of said roller and track parallel with said depending sides.
3. The con'ibinatiouwith a door hanger frame, provided with arallel depending sides, and a convex trac of a roller rota. tably mounted in said frame and constructed with a cylindrical tread adapted to travel on said track, the said depending sides of the hanger frame being spaced apart to a line the centers of the roller and track parallel with the said depending sides.
