It will be noted that as the basket is shifted for upper or lower ease letters, the rods I aremoved with the basket. The rear ends of the parallel rods H. in'lower case position are slightly below the rods heb so that as the basket is svi-'ung upwardly. vit moves. slightly toward the rear of the machine'.
