United States Army, citizen 'of the United States, have invented certain new and 4useful Improvements in Folding Tables, of which the following is a specification.

This invention comprehends certainn'ew and useful improvements in furniture, andthe invention has for its object an improved table which embodies a novel arrangement of parts wherebyA it is rendered susceptible of -beinglreadily folded into a very compact form, so as to occupy a minimum amount of pace and thus be capable of being expeitiously `carried from 'place to place as desired.

A folding table, comprising a top, pairs of legs pivotally connected to the top and fldable thereagainst, pairs of foldable braces pivoted at one end to' the top and having detachable connection at their other ends with the legs to maintain the latter extended, one brace of each pair being of spring formation and bearing frietionally against the other brace When'the braces are folded, whereby to maintain the braces against accidental displacement.
