It will thus be seen that the operator by occ. sionally pushing on the reciprocating part E can apply the oil directly to the point of use.
As illustrated in Fig. 3, the guide F is prorided with one or more openings F1. The reciprocating part E is provided with a valve device F2 which closes seid opening or openings hy mea-ns of the pressure,

Will be seen that. by this construction the oil can be easily applied at the proper point, and that hence less oil is Wasted and the application of a proper amount ot oil is insured. said reciprocating part assing through both of said guides and Fitting tightly therein so as to normally prevent the escape of the liquid through the guides, but free to reciprocate, the guides acting as confining parts between which the liquid is contained, and means for releasing a portion oi said liquid by a longitudinal movement of said reciprocating part, and a compressing dcvice for forcing the liquid out of said handle when the reciprocating device is moved coinprising an enlargement on said reciprocat 111g part in proximity to the guide through which the liquid escapes.
