In case the water is to be heated ith the exhaust steam, the cock e is closed and the cocks f and g are opened. The exhaust steam coming from the pipe G heats the Water and sprays it into the pan A, while the live steam may he used exclusively forboiling thewatel. This steam now passes I out;A through the pipe F to the exhaust.
