Be t known that I, EDWARI P. FUIELONCr, of Port land, in the county of Onrnberland, and State of Maine, have invented a new and useful Improved Paper Bosorn, and I hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others to makeandnse luy invention, reference being hati to the accompanying drawings, forming -part of this specification, in which- 'A is a front view.

My inventionconsists. in a new and improved method of constructing bosoms of cloth. and paper.

It comprises an arrangement of strips of paper for the exterior, which strips are laid on and fastened to a sheet of cloth on.the inner or under side of the said paper.

There are small, narrow spaces between the several tion, are already in public use; but these I do not i claim, as they are very different from my iuyention, which consists Of strips Of' paper, so arrangedupon a cicth backing, for the purpose of prodneing a paper bosom, asthat the same may be folded so as to occopy but little space in packing. 7 y
