Be it known that 1, WILLIAM H. ERMEN- recur, citizen of the United States, residin at Reading, in the county of Berks an State of Pennsylvania,', have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Stocking-Turning Machines, of which the following is a specification. V This invention, relates to imp ovements in stockin turning machines and he object is to facilitate the turning of stockings during the process of manufacture. Ordinarily, when the stocking is topped it is on the so-called wrong side and it is customary to turn it by hand, which is a slow process,
My object inthe present invention is to provide a device that will turn the stockings rapidly, and the invention consists of an eriaust fan, with a specially constructed fan, and having a funnel ,at the entrance to the fan casing, over which the stockin is slipped, and the stocking is drawn into the casing and turned While being so drawn, after which it is deposited through the exit tube.
