bent into a coil, one of sai; wires bz eg bent to form a loop at right angles to the plane coils with'the loop II as drawn through be tween the two ends and N of the coil K and in Fig. 11 the coil K has been moved laterally, showing the loop L as interlocking with the loop I) of the coil A. In Fig. 12, a half revolution has been imparted to the coil K to bring the parts as shown with the two loops L and E interlocking and the two 5 coils positioned in parallel planes. In Fig. 13 of the drawings, the coil A assumes the same position as shown in Fig. 11, but the coil K'has been turned rearward with the oint 0 brought in contact with the grooves and the ends of the wire forming the coil A and moves slightly by the bridge connecting said ends. In Fig. 14 the two loops E and L are shown as interlocking each other at nearly right angles and in Fig. 15 the loop L is shown as having been passed through the neck or space Q leading to the 7 loop H, the two loo s II and L interlocking at substantially rig 1t angles to each other. In Fig. 16 the two coils are shown one above the other in planes at right angles to each other with the two coils H and L interlocking and at right angles to each other. The parts being thus connected together, similar reverse movements as .'described and imparted to the two coils will separate the two wires or coils'one from the other.
What I claim to be new is:-
1. A- puzzle comprising two wires, each bent into a coil, one of said wires being bent; to form a loo at right angles to the plane of the coilana the other wire having :1 )lnrality of s disposed in lanesat right angles to eac other, anda ridge connecting the ends of one wire and holding the same spaced apart a slight distance.
2. A puzzle comprising two wires, each bent into a coil, one of said wires being bent to form a loop at right angles to the plane of the coil and the other wire having a plnrality of loops disposed in planes at right i angles to'each other, a bridge connecting the i -ends'of one wire and holding the same;' spaced apart a sli ht distance, one of said plurality of loo s iaving direct connection i with one end 0 the wire upon which it is i l l l bent.- v
3. A puzzle comprising two wires, each of theicoil and the'other wr'e haying a plurality of loops disposed in planes at right angles to each other, abridge connecting the ends of one wire and holding the same spaced apart a slight distance, one of said p urality of loops having direct connection 1 with one end of the wire upor. which it is bent, the two ends connected by said bridge being slightljy grooved longitudinally.
4. A puzz c comprising two wires, each bent into a coil, one of said wires being bent to lll'lll a loop at right angles to the plane of the coil and the other wire having a plurality of loops, one of which is at right angles to the plane of the coil of which it i an integral part, and others formed in alinenient with the latter.
5. A puzzle comprising two wires, each bent into a coil, one of said wires being bent to form a loop at right angles to the plane of the coil and the other wire having a plurality of loops, one of which is at right angles to the plane of the coil of which it is an integral part and other:- formed in abut:- ment with the latter, and an irregular outlined loop cpnncctitig the two loops, one at right angles l0 and the other in'alinenient with the coil.
(3. A puzzle comprising two wires, each of which is bent to form a coil, one of said coils having a loop at right angles to the plane thereof with the ends of the wire forming the same parallel to each other and spaced apart, the other wire bent to form two loops which are at right angles to the coil of which they are an integral part, thence bent to form a plurality of loops which are in a plane coincident with the plane of one of the wires forming the coil of the second referred to wire, and a bridge connecting one of said plurality of loops with one en of the wire or which it is a part.
7. A puzzle comprising two wires, each of which is'bcnt to form a coil, one of said coils having a loop at rightangles to the plumthereof with the ends of the wire forming the same parallel to each other and spaced apart, the other wire bent to form two loo s which are at right angles to the coil of which they are an integral art, thence lu-nl to t'orui a plurality of oops which are in a plane coincident with the plane of one of the wires forming the coil of the second referred to wire, the two ends of the wire having said plurality of loops terminating opposite each other, and a bridge connecting the same and grooved longihuliually serving as a guide means.
ln testimony whereof I hereunto atlix my signature in the presence of two witnesses.
