My invention relates'to improvements in l handstamps, the primary object` of the in- Ventron being to provide numbering disks yfor the most'frequently used li'gures in" a numbering,'machineon stamp, as for cxample,-tlie units and tens columns, said vnumbering disks being adapted to be used in connection Wit-h the type bands ot an -ordinary hand stamp 'and being 'adapted to be automatically actuated for'conse'cutive numberin as hereinafter more fully described.

1. An attachment for hand stamps, comprising a side extension consisting of an auxiliary yoke body terminating in a side memanaxlelpin securing said side member toathe adjacent sidememberI of the stamp yoke, numberin disks mounted on, said axlepin and provi ed with ratchets, a spring pawl adapt/ed to travel in said ratchets and actuate sa'ld disks in'proper sequential order, a-'spring-resis'ted plunger mounted in the stamp handle and carrying said spring pawl, and. means for manually actuating said disks independently of said pawl and ratchet mechanism.
