To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, HERMAN TAS, a subject of the Queen of the Netherlands, residing at Clerkenwell, in the Kingdom of England, have invented a certain new or Improved Advertlsing Devlce, of w'hlch the following is a specification.

My invention consists of improvements in that class of advertising device 1n which a number of sheets, on whlch are displayed vadvertisements or other information, are

An advertising device comprising a casing, a container slidably mounted in said sheetcarrying frames slidably mounted in said container, means for sliding said container in said casing, means for grasping and raising any one of the frames in said container depending upon the position of the container, extension-plates mounted on each side of the container and having a series of holes, means adapted to casing, sheet-carrying frames slidable in saidcontainer, means forv raising any one of said frames from said container, means for sliding said container in said casing, extension-plates mounted on each side of the container and each having a series of holes, weighted levers pivoted ,to said casing and having at their weighted ends pins each adapted to engage in one of said'holes, the unweighted ends of said levers being adapted to be engaged by saidlifting arms when the arms are in their lowest position whereby the pins are lifted clear from the holes.
