In a centrifugal fan, a wing construction including a wing extending outward from the eye of the fan toward the periphery, and vanes arranged rearward of said wing and adjacent to its outer end, said vanes diverging outwardly, and the inner ends of said vanes being separated to form a passage for the outward flow of air, substantially as described.
