What I claim is:

1. The combination with a bed bottom frame and a horizontal metallic fabrio suspended between the end members of the said frame, of inde endent vertical metallic fabrie members lbcated in\ proximity to the lateral edges of the said horizontal member, means located beneath the said horizontal memberfor connecting the lower edges of the said vertical members together, and means carried by the end members of the said frame for supporting the said vertical members and holding them longitudinally under tension.

2. The combination with a bed bottom frame and a horizontal metallic fabric susended between the end members of the said rame, of independent metallic fabric members located in proximity to the lateral edges of thevsaid horizontal member, a wire rod secured at its opposite ends to the lower ends of the said vertical members and disposed intermediate its ends immediately beneath the said horizontal member, and means carlried by the end members of the said frame for supporting the said vertical members and holding them longitudinally under teiil lateral edges of the said horizontal iiiember,`

but generally unconnected therewith, the
