To aZZ whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, BENNETT KAMINBKY, of Indianapolis, of Indiana, have invented a certain new and useful Drinking-Fountain; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference be-' ing had to the accompanying drawings, in which like numerals refer to like parts.

The object of this invention is to provide an improved sanitary drinking fountain, particularly adapted for public schools and other public drinking places, the idea being to converge-a number of streams issuing from substantially opposite points to a single point so 'as to cause an upward geyser-like column of'water, to which thedrinker can apply his mouth, and the unused water drops down .through the device.

Aubiher feature of the invention consists in restricting the outlet of the nozzles to obstreams therefrom.

Another feature consists in providing .a lnumber ofnozzle tubes arranged in a circle around the center,.and an annular brace or ring for holding them in place. Along with the foregoing is the idea of the tubes xterminating within said brace, and continuing, the passageway for the water by providing discharge holes-in the brace or ring.

The full nature of the invention 'will be. understood from the accompanying drawings and the following description and claims.

A pipe 10 is provided leading from some suitable supply of water under pressure. On that pipe the head 11 is screwed, from which a number of nozzle tubes 12 lead. There are eight of these herein shown and their upper ends are arranged in a circle around a center, so that the streams discharged by them will meet at a substantially central point. 1.-A drinking fountain including means for discharging more thantwo horizontal streams of water that converge at a single point, whereby a jet of water is thrown upwardly at the point of meeting.

2. A drinking fountain including more than two tubes with their outlet ends arranged substantially equidistant from each other and around a central point, and a ring brace secured to the outlet ends thereof for holding them .in place.

3. A drinking fountain including more than two tubes with their outlet ends arranged substantially equidistant from each other and around a central point, a ring brace secured to the outlet ends of said tubes and into which the ends of said tubes extend, and outlet orifices in said ring brace leading from the ends of said tubes.
