To all whom it may concern:

Be it' known that we, THOMAS GEORGE STEVENS and CHARLES WAKEFIELD, subjects of the King of Great Britain and Ireland, residing at Pavenham, Bedt'ord, England, and Burch road, Rosherville, Kent, England, respectively, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Boot and Shoe Trees; and we do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art' to which it struct a tree or last to this invention.
