Grip.The grip 1, before mentioned, as stated, has a magazine chamber 2, the side walls of which are partially formed of plates 73 which may be of hard rubber, stamped metal or any other suitable elastic material. These plates are slid onto the grip and are held by means of overhanging tracks or guides 74 which lead from the rear of the grip. When the plates are in proper positions on the grip, lugs 7 5 thereon snap into recesses'76 on the grip and hold the plates in position. To remove the plates, ones fingers are introduced into the magazine opening through the bottom of the grip, and pressure is applied to the plates at those portions adjacent the lugs 75. The plates are then slidto the rear. At the front edges of the plates, the grip is provided with vertical grooves 77 into which project fins 78 on the plates, the interlock between the parts preventing the plates working or having play on the grip. j
