;.While I have shown and described my attachment as used in connection with-a cloth tenterinfi machine, it is evident that it may be use in connection with any ma chine where it is desirable to kee the lateral or selvage edges of the cloti perfectly smooth or 'free of wrinkles or upturned portions;
