The throttle lever 30 end the cranks 35 end 38 are arranged substantially parallel with each other and the slots 81 end 39 are substentislly parallel with each other and with said cranks, whereby the ends of the connecting bers 33 and 41 may be adjusted towards or away from the fulcrum of the cranks in which they are mounted. lt is obvious that when thecnd of tho/connecting bar 33 adjusted closer to throttle lever 30 th opening movement of the gas valve 2'3 will be relatively more rapid than the opening movement of the sir valve 25 an d the fuel valve 20.
