In a horn, a sounding element provided with a' vibrating-valve consisting of a baseplate slidably and adjustably-mounted and a epending vibrating-plate integral with said baselate and extending crosswise in said soun ing element.
2. In a horn, a longitudinally-divided horn body, an inlet-pipe, inlet-slots leading from said inlet-pipe to said horn body, and valves mounted in said horn body, each of said valves comprising an adjustably-mountedbase-plate carrying a vibrating-plate extending crosswise in said horn body.
3. In a horn, a plurality of-fiuid-pressure pipes, a common inlet-pipe, inlet-slots leading from said inlet pipe to said fluid-pressure pipes, plates mounted intermediate said inlet-slots and provided with wings at the sides of said inlet-slots, and tongue-pieces said head and provided with wings extendin and deflector-lips adjustabiy mounted above and at the rear of said inlet-slots,'respectively, and intermediate said wings.

A horn, comprising a horn body made up of a plurality of fluid-pressure PIPES, a rear hea provided with an inlet-pipe and inlet-slots leading from said inlet-pipe to said fluid-pressure ipes, plates mounted on said head interme iate said inlet-slots and provided with wings at'the ends of said inletslots and extending rearwardly at right angles to said head, and tongue-pieces adjust-- ably-mounted at the rear of said inlet-slots and intermediate said wings.

A horn comprising a plurality of fluidpressure pipes, a head secured thereto and provided with inlet-slots leading to said ipes, an inlet-pipe secured to said head and eading to said inlet-slots, plates secured to rearwardly at the ends of said inlet-slots and at right angles to said head, and deflectorsaid inlet-pipe lips intermediate said wings' aiid the fea of said'inlet-slot's.
6. In a' horn, a fluid-pressure plurality "of inlet openings communicating therewith, an inlet-pi e having its end provided with inlet-slots irecting the operating fluid to said inlet-openings of said head and carrying a plurality of radially-extending head carrying a plurality of deflector-wings secured to said head between said inlet-openings and extending at right angles thereto,
