I am aware that many modifications of this invention may be devised by those skilled in the art and I do not wish to limit myself to the exact construction herein demonstrated, but

What I do claim and desire Letters Patent is:

1. In a musical instrument, the combination of a key-table, keys above said table, a rail above said table and near the forward end of said ke s and means attached to said rail and movalily supported by said table to su port said rail for horizontal movement.

s. In a musical instrument, the combination of a key-table, a key-slip section and means attached to said section and slidably supported by said key-table to support, said section for horizontal movement.

3. In a mechanical musical instrument, the combination of controlling devices and a cover mounted for horizontal movement rearwardly toward said devices to conceal to secure by them and forwardly from said devices to ex-' pose them.
