To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that we, ALEXANDER JACKSON FIKE and CHARLES MORGAN-FIKE, citizens of the Un ited States of America, residing at Clifton Mills, in the county of Preston and State of West Virginia, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Tables, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to companying drawing. I

This invention relates to tables, and the objects of our invention are, first, to provide a revoluble support for dishes,

veniently wait upon themselves; second, to provide a table wherein novel means are employed for moving dishes about a table; third, to obviate the necessity of passing to another seated at a table with so.- perimposed revoluble supports and a stacandelabrum or vase; fifth, to provide a table with a revoluble dish support which can be easily and quickly removed when the table is to be used for other purposes, and sixth, to provide a table having revoluble platforms that can be located in a stationary position.

We attain the above objects by the construction which will be presently described in detail and then specifically pointed out Referring to the drawings formin a part of this specification, Figure 1 is an e evation of our table partly broken away and partly in section, Fig. 2 is a plan of a drawer section of our table, Fig. 3 is an elevation of our table partly in section, illustrating a rearrangement of the parts thereof, and Fig. 4 is aplan of the same.

To put our invention into practice, we provide a base, a revoluble drawer section, a revoluble table top, and revoluble superimposed platforms which areso arranged that the table top can bedispensed with if desired.

the ac- The drawer section of our table comprises a bearing plate 4, and brackets 5 connected by a central standard 6, said standard receiving the upper end of the post 3. The brackets 5 support an annulus or ring 'Z-provided with a .plurality of circumferentially arranged roller bearings 8. The annulus or ring 7 is formed with radially disposed openings 9'for drawers 10.

The standard-6 extends above the annulus or ring .7 and is provided with acentral rod 11 having its upper end provided with an interiorly threaded socket 12. i

The drawer section of our table is adapted to revolve upon the base of the table, and to lock the same in a stationaryposition, we provide one of the legs or supports of the table with a pivot lever 13 having a locking rod 14 adapted to extend upwardly through the flange 15 of the block 2 and engage in the bearin plate 4 of the drawer section.

Revolubl ings 8 of the drawer section is a table top 16, said table top having a central opening 17 to accommodate the upper end of the standard 6. The under side of this table top is provided with radially disposed guideways 18 for drawers 19, these drawers being located at the periphery of the table top.

To look the table top stationary with respect to the drawer section of the table, we provide one of the brackets 5 with a pivot lever 20 having an upwardly extending nulus or rin 7 to engage inthetable top 16, as clear y shown in Fig. 1 of the drawings.

Mounted upon the rod 11 is a bearing late 22 having a bearing block 23, said nearing vplate and said bearing block suppofilting the superimposed platforms of our ta e.

The main platform 24: is recessed, as at 25, to receive the block 23, and isprovided with a central column 26 apertured to receive the rod 11 and supporting a revoluble platform 27. The column 26 is made in two parts, whereby the platform 27 can be revolubly mounted upon the reduced upper end of the lower part of the column, the upper part y mounted upon the roller bearof the column being connected to the lower part by dowel pins 28 or similar fastening means. i

v The bearing plate 4 between the brackets 5 serves functionally as a shelf, and the drawers 10 and 19' can be used for numerous purposes.

We preferably make our table of a circular form, and it is obvious that for banquet purposes the table can be beautifully easily served. When the table is not eing used for'dining purposes, the table top 16 is removed, and then the table can be used as a sewing table or for any desired purposes.

With the superimposed platforms removed, and the platform .30 mounted upon the standard 6, the table can be used for cards or similar games, a lamp being located upon the platform 30 to illuminate the entire surface of the table.

We reserve the right to make our table octagon, hexagon or any desired shape, and such other changes in the details of construction as are permissible by the appended claims can be resorted to without departing from the scope of the invention.

Having now described our invention what We claim as new, is

1. A table embodying a base, a postcarried thereby, a drawer section revolubly mounted upon said base, said drawer section con'iprising brackets, a central standard, an annulus supported by said brackets, drawers slidably mounted in said annulus, roller bearings carried by said annulus, a central rod carried by said standard, a table top revolubly mounted upon said roller bearings, dinners slidably mounted upon the under side. of said table top, superimposed revoests ' said table top, means luble platforms surrounding said rod above said roller bearings, revoluble superimposed. platforms surrounding said standard above said table top, a platform carried by the upper end of said standard, means projecting through said annulus to hold said table top stationary,-and means carried by said base for holdin said drawer section stationary.

4. A table embodying a base, a drawer section revolubly mounted thereon, said section comprising a central standard, an annulus, and drawers; a table top revolubly mounted upon said annulus, superimposed revoluble platforms surrounding said standard above projecting through said annulus for holding said table top statlonary, and means carried .by said base for holding said drawer section stationary.

5. A table embodying a base, a revoluble drawer section carried thereby, said drawer section comprising an annulus, drawers, and a central standard; a table top revolubly mounted upon said annulus, revoluble superimposed platforms surrounding said standard above said table top, means carried by said base for holding said \dr awer section stationary, and means carried by said drawer section for holding said table top stationary.

6. In a table of the type described, a base,
