My invention relates to improvements in electric lamp clusters, and particularly tio a. type of lamp cluster that is adapted to be inserted into the ordinary socket or receptacle,. one of the ob'ects of The' invention being the product-ion oi a device of this type which is of simple and economical construction und at the snme time ellicient. and durable.

Referring to Figs. 1 und 2, 1 indicates the lug, formed of insulating nmtcrial, this plug eing provided with n scpuruhle end-piece or cap 2. Carried on thc muin luidy-portion 1 of the plug is e. corruguted contactmember which may conveniently consist of a threaded ring 3 adapted to coperutc. with one ol.' the contacts of the ordinary Edison type of incandescent lump socket. This ringis formed at one of its ends with an inturned flange, or shoulder 4, the opposite end being l provided with an out-turned ihmge or shoull der 5. The outer end ofi the bolt 6 serves as the center contact for the plug of the device, while the nut (la, upon the inner end of the bolt 6, serves to secure the plate in place and to bind the whole together- A8 indicates a sleeve of insulating material which is ada ted to poss on over the contact ring 3. Pre erahly this sleeve 8 will he interiorly screw-threaded to correspond with thc 'threads upon this member 3.

In the form of the device shcxm in F 6, a metallioeover-plate .21 is interposed between the iber disk 14 and the noneonducting sleeve S. This disk 21 is centered by a pro- `ection or shoulder 22 upon the sleeve 8.
Ilien this late 21 is used it forms, in combination vit-1 the cover 15, a complete metallic casing for the device.
I claim:

In a plug-cluster, a plug of insulating material carrying a plurality of lamp-holding devices, a centra and an outer cont-act nic-inber upon said plug to cooperate with the. con tac-ts of a suitable socket, said outer contact 'member having a shoulder upon its inner endand a lamp-terminalscontacting plate supported bv said shoulder.

In a plug-cluster the combination of a plug carrying a plurality ci" lmnp-holding devices, a cent-ral and an outer contact member upon said plug to cooperate with the contacts of aY .suitable socket, said outer contact member having a lianged inner end, and a contact-plate carried by and in electrical connection with said flange.
3. In a plug-cluster the combination ol a plug,r carrying a plurality of lain p-holding devices, a central andan outer contact member upon said plug to cooperate with the contact-S of a suitable socket, said outer contact member having an ont-turned inner end, and a lamp-terminal-contacting plute'supportcd by said out-turned end. 4.
