To all whom it may concern:
lie it known that l, (51419100. LAKE, a citizen of the United tatoa, residing at Shrcve, in the countv 'of Wayne and Stato of Ohio, havc invent certain new and useful Im rovementa in Gaad'lnginea, of which the fol owing is a specification.
My invention relates to improvements in gaa engines and the paramount object is to produce a enorall -improved engine of this class whici will re exceedingly simple in cgmatru; ion, cheap of manufacture, and eltlment in use.
' The invention relates more particula to th governor mechanism, the combos iblc gaa-inlct-valvc, and the intermediate connections whereby the speed of the engine may be maintained conatalit under varying loads and conditions, and yet, at the same time, may be increased or decreased throu 'h said intermediate connections, as dcsimi by the operator.
Another object is to irovide a generallyim ivcd an-mixcr rhec aniamwhercbythc 'ric mcaa o the combnatible gas charge may be readily increaaed or decreaeod an desired undo? the conditiona and ciroumstanees of operihiori; A
Another object in to im rovc the construction' of the-water-jachete -cylindcr and combuation-chamber.
A still further object is to provide a simple and effective timer mechanism for varying the time of ignition of the charge relative to the position of the piaton in starting the engine, and the average rate of speed dea with these 'and other ends in-vie'w, the invention oonaiata in the novel construction, '40 arrangement and combination of parts, hereinafterdcscribed, illustrated in tho accompanyiu drawings, and particularly pointed out in the appended claims.
