.An obJect of thls invention is to simplify machines for making olive oil and to construct said machines ina stronger and more compact'form, witha view to economizing floor space and of firmly supporting the tank wherein the olives are crushed so that the apparatus will not be vdamaged by the jar resulting from the movements of the heavy crushing rollers employed to loosen the pulp The inventionconsists essentially in 1 the construction, combination and arrangen'ient of the zseveral parts as will be hereinafter fullyj described; in the specification, illustrated ,the ,.drawings, and, specifically pointed out-'inithe claims. A brief statement of the operation is as follows: Olives are fed to tank 1, and water added from tank 2 through faucet 2. Such portion of the pits as may be removed through gate 16 may be drawn into suitable receptacle (not shown) held in front of opening 16 while gates 17 and 18 are raised and the pitspulled out from tank 15 by means of any suitable instrument. 19 is another opening to assist in removing pits from tank 15.
