5. A sofa bed comprising a supporting base having a front and back wall of substantially the same height, and.

having side walls of greater height than said front and back, and each carrying a horizontal track higher than said front and back, a pair of bed-sectionsl hinged together, extending below sztid tracks and adapted to slide across said lront and back, and pro'vided with supports for carrying the same en said tracks and located near the hinge connection of said bed-sections. ,f l,

A sofa bed eomprising'al'supporng' base having at each side ajtrack elevated above the base, a pair of bedsections hinged together, extending down below said tracks and provided with supports running upon said tracks, and means carried by said vbed-sections forv locking the same at an angle to each other, one of rsaid bed-sections beingv provided with a double outer wall so as to foi-ina recess into which said track extends.

means carried by said bed-section for locking the same at an angle to each other, one of said bed-sections being provided at each side with a beveled guide adapted. to prevent sections hinged together, extending down below said tracks and provided with supports running upon said tracks, and means carriedby said bed-sections for locking' the same at an angle to each other, each of said bed-sections being prosections o'r either 'of them horizontal position.

10. A sofa bed comprising a supporting base having side wallsof greater. height than its front and back walls,
