To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, IVILLIAM A. BENTON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Fort IVorth, Texas, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Molds for Making Concrete Blocks or Artificial Stone, of which the following is a specification.

Molding 17 is used to form a bed for cement which is used between the blocks to hold the blocks together. In practice the mold is coupled together as shown in Fig. 1 with the core removed. The mold can then be coupled. together for receiving another concrete block. l If necessary the mold with the concrete block can be transported to any suitable place and for this reason handles 24 are attached to the end pieces.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is,
1. A- mold having side and end frame pieces connected together and capable of outward movement, molding pieces by said frame pieces, blocks carried by said molding pieces, a core inserted horizontally through one of said sides and through the molding piece on that side and intercepting the configurating blocks on bothsides, a draw bar attached to said core an l the outside frame piece resting against the outside frame piece, handscrews in the plane of said core operating through said draw-bar and bearing against in close proximity to the opening in said frame piece for said core and causin a gradual outward thrust of said core, and a facing mold of suitable design for forming the weather face of blocks.
