To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, WILLIAM II. DU N, a citizen of the I nited States of America, re.- siding at No. 20.1.8 West Adams street, in the city of Chicago, county of Cook, and State of Illinois, have invented a new and useful Improvement in a (leansing-hlachine, of which the following is a specification.

My invention relates to the production of a simple and inexpensive cleansing machine and has for its special object the production of suclra machine in which the articles to be cleansed may be introduced, cleansed and removed without the necessity of introducing the hands into the cleansing lluid, and in which the cleansing lluid will be thoroughly and effectively circulated tln'ough the articles to be cleansed.

The reference numeral 1 designates the containing tank which may be madein any desired form which will permit of the rotation of the circulator to be hereafter described. In the present embodiment of my invention I have given the tank the form of a bucket or pail. At the center of the bottom of the tank is provided the short post 2 extending into the tank and having in its top thedepression 2). The tank is further provided with the bail 4 for the purpose of easily lifting it and the cut away portion 5 through which projects the handle U for rotating the eirculatm'.

For the purpose of circulating the cleansing fluid 1 provide the eirculator consisting of the hub plate 7 having on its under side the projection S. It is evident, from the foregoing description, taken in connect-ion with the drawings, that I rovide a simple, inexpensive and practical cleansing machine.
