I claim as my inventionz l. In an apparatus for feeding metallic leaf to a stamping ress from afacka e roll, the combination o the die-hol p er, and the platen, with the parallel en ess bands for su porting the edges of the sheets of metallic leaf, means for depositing the sheets of metallic'leaf thereon from the pack- .age roll, and means for imparting movement to the said bands to carry the metallic leaf between the die-,holding plunger and the platen. A
2. The combination ol' the die-holding plunger, 4and the platen, with the bands for supporting the edges ofthe sheets of metallic leaf deposited thereon, means for imparting movement-to the said bands, and means for applying. an adhesive material to the bands. 3. The combination of the die-holding plunger, and the platen, with the bands for the edges of the sheets of metallic leaf deposited thereon, means for a plyin adhesive material to the said ban s, any means forremoving leaf from they bands.
4. In an apparatus of the character described, the combination of the die-holding El er, the platen, the arallel endless the adhering metallic for supporting the-e ges of the metallic leaf at opposite sides of the die, and means for im arting movement to the said bands, with t e heating roll adapted? to hold the metallic leaf against the said bands for attachment thereto.
5. In an apparatus of the character described, the combination of the die-holding lu er, the platen, the arallel endless an s for supporting the e ges of the metallic leaf at opposite sides of the die, and means for im arting movement to thc said bands, with tllie heating rollladaptcd to hold the metallic leaf against the said bands for attachment thereto, and a cutter for dividing` the fillet of metallic leaf into suitable lengths preparatory to its attachment to the supporting bands.
6. In an apparatus of the character dcscribed, the combination of thc die-holding lunger, the platen, the parallel endless ands for supporting the edges of the metallic leaf at opposite sides of the die, and means for impart movement to the said bands, with a roll 4a a ted`t0 hold the metallic leaf against the sai bands for attachment thereto, and a cutter bearn againstthe periphery of the Asaid roll for divi ing the fillet of metallic leaf into suitable lengths, preparator to its attachment to the sup 'ortin ban and means for reciprocating tllie sai cutter.
