In a pump-stroke-regulating device, the combination of a regulating-blade, a pivoted lever ada ted to carry said blade, and provided witii a Weight, a rod pivot-ally connected to the weighted lever, a rack-bar actuated by the blade carried by the pivoted lever, a ulcrum-Wheel and a Walking-lever located thereon, and movable, longitudinally, means for actuating the walking-lever and' a pumprod connected to said Walking-lever, vsub- .stantially as and for the purpose specified.

In a pump-stroke-regulating device, the combination of a toothed wheel, a Walkinglever mounted upon said toothed Wheel, pivoted arms located upon o posite sides of the Walking-lever, a roller ocated upon said Walking-lever and carried by said pivoted arms, means for imparting a walking movement to said Walking-lever, and means for imparting rotary movement to the toothed wheel carrying the Walking-lever, substantiall)r as and for the purpose speciiied.
4. In a pump-stroke-regulating device, the combination of a Walking-lever, means for irnparting Walking movement to the Walkinglever, and means for imparting reciprocating movement to said Walking-lever, a regulating-blade, and a pivoted lever ada ted to carry said regulating-blade, a Weig t connected to said pivoted lever, a spring secured at its top end to the pivoted lever and its lower end secured in fixed relative position to the pivoted lever and a stop-shoulder adapt'- ed for contact with the under side of the pivoted lever, substantially as and for the purpose specified.

In a pump-stroke-regulating device a pivoted lever, a regulating-blade carried by said pivoted lever, a Weight carried by the pivoted lever, rotatable members adapted to support said pivoted lever and regulatingblade and Weight, a regulating-rod pivotall;r attached to the Weighted lever, a rack-bar journaled at its top end to the regulating-rod, a pinion adapted to mesh with the rack-bar, a gear-wheel rotatable with the pinion meshing with the rack-bar, a shaft, apinjon xed to said shaft, said pinion meshing with the gear driven by the rack-bar pinion, a Wormgear xed to said shaft, a gear-Wheel meshing with the Worm-gear, a toothed Wheel, a Walking-lever fulerumed upon the toothed wheel, said toothed Wheel driven by the Worm-gear and gear-Wheel meshing therewith, and means for imparting walking movement to the Walking-lever, and a pump-rod pivotally attached to said Walking-lever, substantially as and for the purpose specified.
