To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, ERNST STRAHL, physician, a citizen of the State of .Hamburg,

German Empire, and a resident of Grosse Allee, Hamburg, in the State of Hamburg, German Empire, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Woven Surgical Bandages, of which the following is'a specification.

1 Thexpresent invention relates to 'woven surgical bandages, the peculiarity of which is that they are provided with warp or weft threads or grou s thereof or stripes formed thereb of a di erentcolor from the rest of the fa ric. By this arrangement considerable advantages are offered 111 many respects.-

Among other points different bands. es can be readily distinguished, so that, or example, on removing the same from a bandaged limb each separate strip can be quickly removed in succession. It is thus never necessary to-search for the end of a bandage orfor the top layer thereof, and thus tangl and confusion of the bandages is obviat e if art can on one after t e other and subsequently reapp ied in the same order without danger -o confusion.
