Be it known that I, CHARLES M. BRTLETT, a citizen ofthe United States of America, and a resident of Cincinnati, county of Hamilton, State of Ohio, have invented certain new and I useful Im rovements in Co )y Holders, of which the ollowing is a speci ication.

vThe object of my invention is a copy-holder which is'capable of a variety of adjustments toadapt it for use in various positions under diiierent conditions and to suit the tastes of different people;

Ihis object is attained by the means described in the specification and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in ,which Figure l 'is an elevation oi" a co y-holder embodying my invention, the standiird being shown broken in two and the members brought together to economize space and the ledge to which it is attached being shown in section. Referring to the parts, the bracket A has jawsva a', carrying aset-screw a2, so that the j aws may be engaged with a ledge B, whether e to of a table, or be vertical, such as the side o a drawer. Bores e2, e3, and c4 are of a diameter to receive the standard F.
