Be it known that I, CLEMENT G. HARRING- 'roN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Maplewood, Missouri, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Shaftand exact description, such as willv enable which it appering hadto'the'accompanying drawings, formingmpart of this specification, inwhich-vigure 1 is a side elevational view of my improved shaft-hanger. 'This `invention relates to a new `and usefulv improvement in'shaft or ipe hangers of that character wherein thesliaft or pipe passes through a metal plate, such as a web or diaphragm, in steelcar construction.
